Missions
This category allows for gifts that will support outreach and mission work. 5% of the corpus of this account will be given to missions each year.
Student Aid
St. Lorenz Lutheran Church has a long history of supporting students preparing to be pastors, teachers and other church work professionals. This fund annually provides resources that are used to provide scholarships for students preparing to become full time church workers.
Care for Workers
St. Lorenz has been blessed with many dedicated professional church workers. This fund provides an opportunity for donors to help support these workers in a variety of ways. Funds are donated in this account can provide for special support opportunities for pastors, teachers, and other full time church work professionals.
Maintenance
Our congregation has been blessed with many buildings and an ample supply of land. Funds from this account will help to support the on going expenses related to maintenance and repair of our properties.
Music Ministry
Our congregation has been blessed with a long tradition of excellence in the area of parish music. Scores of members have dedicated themselves to participation in choirs and instrumental groups as well as service as vocalists. Funds given to this account will help provide for the ongoing support of music ministries.
Caring Ministry
Counseling, Stephen Ministry, and Social Ministry are but of a few programs that help the members of St. Lorenz provide for those that are in need. Gifts to this designated area provide annual gifts to support the caring ministries of St. Lorenz Lutheran. Countless members reach out each year to those in need. This fund will assist in providing on going support for this area of ministry.
Tuition and Fee Support
The members of St. Lorenz do an excellent job in providing for the next generation through the operation of our school. Children are provided with a quality program, excellent facilities and a dedicated staff. Some families have financial difficulty that make the expenses for tuitions and fees seemingly impossible. This fund provides annual resources to assist families in need.
Operating Fund
While it is clear that the on going support of congregational operations belongs to the current members gifts given to this account will help assure the well being of our congregation as it passes from generation to generation. Funds distributed from this account will go to the operating fund for use by the congregation as they deem necessary.
Building Programs
As the congregation increases its need for facilities and as the current facilities age this account will provide resources to help and support the building needs of our institution.
Curriculum and Program Support
Our school is constantly challenged to be the very best it can be. This requires regular retooling for the teaching staff as well as new resources to assist in instruction. Funds from this account will help provide our staff with the tools that they need to prepare students for a life of service to His children.
